How much does shipping cost?
The cost of shipping is calculated at checkout.
Discounts can be provided for wholesale orders (over 10 items).
How long will it take to get my order?
All prints are started upon order confirmation. After placing an order, a print is ready for shipping within 5 business days. Following this they are shipped with our tracked couriers. You can expect your order within 3 business days from receiving your tracking number.
Can you ship my order urgently?
Yes! If you need an order within a certain timeframe please get in contact with us, as we will always help to get an order to you in time.
What happens if my print arrives damaged?
We will happily replace any item that has been damaged during transit. Contact us with your order number and details. Please provide as much detail as possible including images showing the damage.
Do you ship internationally?
Nationwide shipping within New Zealand is able to be selected at checkout. We do not have an option for international shipping at checkout.
If you would like an order shipped internationally, please contact us so we can provide a quote prior to ordering.
PRINT DETAILS
What size prints are available?
Prints are available in the following standard sizes.
A1 - 594 mm x 841 mm
A2 - 420 mm x 594 mm
A3 - 297 mm x 420 mm
A4 - 210 mm x 297 mm
We are also able to providing printing at the following custom sizes.
A0 - 841 mm x 1189 mm
5x7 - 127 mm x 178 mm
6x4 - 101 mm x 152 mm

What paper do you use?
We use two paper types:
A4 - A2: Our paper is a gallery quality 310 gsm weight and provides a heavy, professional quality.
A1: We outsource our A1 printing to a local printing company. The paper used is gallery quality 200 gsm weight and is a premium satin finish.
What ink / printer do you use?
We use the latest Canon printers with 12 pigment ink system that produces spectacular photos and fine arts with smooth gradations and excellent detail.
Where do you source the photographs & maps from?
Our prints are sourced from a variety of Archives around New Zealand. All prints are public domain images or sourced from archives that allow reproduction. Be assured that we do not use any images without confirming that it can be used as a print.
Do you restore the original images?
When we recieve a file from an archive, it has been scanned at high resolution from a negative or photograph. This often highlights imperfections such as dust and scratches. We restore each photograph fixing these imperfections whilst also preserving the images original historical character.
Can I get a custom print?
Yes! We offer a complimentary research service. Find out more.
Can you restore an image that I provide?
Yes! Depending on the type of image and your requirements, we can assist in restoring it to it's original state. Enquire here.

What payment methods do you support?
We support AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, Shop and Union Pay.
Do you allow payment with Afterpay?
Yes! Afterpay is available at checkout.
FRAMING
Do you offer framed prints?
Yes! We offer framed prints for customers within the Canterbury region.
What sized frames do you offer?
Our frames are sized to fit all the print sizes we offer (A1 - A4).
Do the frames come with a mat border?
We can provide framed prints with or without a mat border.
